Victoria County Transit Cooperative Ltd. has received $9,900 through the Province of Nova Scotia’s Age-Friendly Communities Grant Program to support its From Home to Healthcare (H2H) program.
In partnership with Northwood-Victoria (formerly Victoria County Home Support Services), H2H provides seniors in Victoria County with fully subsidized transportation to and from medical appointments, helping reduce cost barriers and improve access to healthcare in our rural communities.
Thank you to the Province of Nova Scotia for this funding and for supporting initiatives that help older adults stay healthy, connected and engaged in their communities.
