Victoria County Transit is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all employees and passengers. Drivers, administration, board members, and passengers have the right to be treated with respect and to travel and work safely.
Any person who disrupts the safety and orderly operation of transit services may have their transportation privileges restricted or revoked.
The following behaviours are not permitted:
- Inappropriate or unwelcome comments, gestures, or suggestions
- Verbal abuse, threats, or harassment
- Physical violence or aggressive behaviour
- Discriminatory, offensive, or hateful language or actions
- Any behaviour that interferes with the safe operation of a vehicle

When you request a ride or fill out our contact form, the information you provide is stored in our database and emailed to the dispatch office so they can respond. We retain the information you submit for reporting purposes for up to one year.
Cookies
Cookies are used to geolocate addresses on our Request a Ride booking form and to track anonymous statistics about site useage and for performance enhancement.
Who we share your data with
If you submit a form, your IP address will be recorded in the database when your information is submitted.
How long we retain your data
Form submissions are deleted when they are no longer needed for customer service or reporting purposed. Website administrators can see this information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have submitted a form, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To request your data be removed please submit a request in writing by email to transit@victoriacounty.ca

Visitor form submissions may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
