Victoria County Transit is a non-profit, community-based organization focused on providing safe and affordable transportation to residents in Victoria County, Nova Scotia. Our pre-booked, door-to-door transit service caters to individuals of all ages and income levels, ensuring accessibility for everyone.
Founded in response to the transportation challenges faced by rural communities, Victoria County Transit launched to connect residents with vital services and destinations. Our initial goal remains our priority: improving local mobility and access.
We proudly serve a diverse clientele, including students, seniors, and professionals, connecting them to schools, medical appointments, shopping, and community events. Our commitment to inclusivity shapes every aspect of our service.

Code of Conduct
Victoria County Transit is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all employees and passengers. Drivers, administration, board members, and passengers have the right to be treated with respect and to travel and work safely.
Any person who disrupts the safety and orderly operation of transit services may have their transportation privileges restricted or revoked.
The following behaviours are not permitted:
- Inappropriate or unwelcome comments, gestures, or suggestions
- Verbal abuse, threats, or harassment
- Physical violence or aggressive behaviour
- Discriminatory, offensive, or hateful language or actions
- Any behaviour that interferes with the safe operation of a vehicle
