More Than Transportation

As a driver, you’ll provide safe, reliable door-to-door transportation for residents travelling to medical appointments, shopping, social programs, work, and community events. For many passengers, your support helps them maintain independence and stay connected to their community.

Code of Conduct

Victoria County Transit is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all employees and passengers. Drivers, administration, board members, and passengers have the right to be treated with respect and to travel and work safely.

Any person who disrupts the safety and orderly operation of transit services may have their transportation privileges restricted or revoked.

The following behaviours are not permitted:

  • Inappropriate or unwelcome comments, gestures, or suggestions
  • Verbal abuse, threats, or harassment
  • Physical violence or aggressive behaviour
  • Discriminatory, offensive, or hateful language or actions
  • Any behaviour that interferes with the safe operation of a vehicle
